SonCoast Book
Exchange
Visit the NEW SonCoast book exchange cart
in the foyer. Help yourself to some good reading material
for FREE! Also, if you have some books to donate, bring
them along and add them to the cart. The cart will be
out every Sunday, so stop by (with a cup of SonCoast
Café coffee) and browse!
Special
Needs Parking Spots Now Available
There are now three new
special needs parking spots in the SonCoast parking
lot. Two are outside the office entrance and one is
adjacent to the canopy on the north side of the building.
(These special needs spots are in addition to the handicapped
spaces already assigned.)
NEW Fall Sermon Series on HEAVEN
Pastor Mitch began a new sermon
series on September 7th on the topic of heaven. What
do you think heaven will be like? What myths have you
heard and what does the Bible really say? Get ready
to have your earthly ideas challenged as we dive into
scripture in a fascinating, encouraging and promise-filled
study about HEAVEN!!
We are in the process of setting up a “Heaven Art Gallery”
in our foyer and sanctuary displaying art pieces (paintings,
drawings, photography or poetry) describing what YOU
hope heaven will be like. Our Wave Riders kids’ art is presently displayed in the foyer. Stop and check out their ideas of heaven. There is also a table of art supplies FREE for the taking so you can create your own art piece. Bring your art, poetry, or photography so that we can expand our adult art gallery as well.
We are also collecting forms for our “In His Presence” Wall of Honor. Pick up a form, answer the questions and add a picture so we can display your loved ones who are already in heaven.
SonCoast office
hours are Tuesday through
Friday, 9:00 AM–4:30 PM. If you have an emergency

please call Pastor Mitch Dillon at his home or on his cell phone.
These numbers are listed in the church directory.

Lay Up Treasures
in Heaven
19
"Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth,
where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break
in and steal; 20
but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where
neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do
not break in and steal. 21
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be
also.
The Lamp of the
Body
22
"The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore
your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light.
23
But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full
of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is
darkness, how great is that darkness!
You Cannot Serve
God and Riches
24
"No one can serve two masters; for either he will
hate the one and love the other, or else he will be
loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve
God and mammon.
Matthew 6:19-24
