This exciting ministry for kids from babies to 5th graders teaches children about the love of God and our savior, Jesus Christ.
Our Mission
SonCoast has a clearly defined mission to teach the children of our community about the essentials of the Christian faith as spelled out in the Bible. We provide a wide range of programs to meet the different learning styles, age groups, and interest levels that characterize our children. We use a traditional approach to teach foundational, biblically based lessons using proven teaching methods.
Committed Teachers & Leaders
SonCoast is blessed with a wealth of talented and committed teachers and aides who have the hearts of servants. They bring a warmth and enthusiasm to children’s ministry, showing our kids the love of God in a real and tangible way.
Age appropriate teaching
Our children attend classes during the adult service time and are grouped according to age and grade. Newborns to 23 months are in our nursery. Children from age 2 through 4 are in our Preschool classroom. Children from Kindergarten to second grade attend our K-2 class and 3rd-5th graders are in our 3rd-5th grade class.
Wednesday Nights (6:30-8:00 PM)
On Wednesday nights during the school year, you will find children, babies through fifth grade at SonCoast having fun – and lots of it!
Nursery and Preschool
Child care is provided for Nursery and Preschool age children.
Play & Pray
Play & Pray is fun with a purpose – to reach and train kids kindergarten through fifth grade for Jesus Christ. It blends Bible teaching, Scripture memorization and tons of fun. Games, crafts, awards, and other activities transform this program into a lively weekly experience where fun and learning go hand in hand.
