This exciting ministry for kids (kindergarten - fifth grade) is in full swing in the Upper Room during the morning service . Join us each week and learn how to ride the waves of life with Jesus Christ leading the way!

Our Mission

SonCoast has a clearly defined mission to teach the children of our community about the essentials of the Christian faith as spelled out in the Bible. We provide a wide range of programs to meet the different learning styles, age groups, and interest levels that characterize our children. We use a traditional approach and implement multimedia, computer technology, drama, art, language arts, desktop publishing and more to bring the work of God to life. We teach foundational, biblically based lessons using proven teaching methods.

 

Committed Teachers & Leaders

SonCoast is blessed with a wealth of talented and committed teachers and aides who have the hearts of servants. They bring a warmth and enthusiasm to children’s ministry, showing our kids the love of God in a real and tangible way.

Nursery & Toddler Rooms Undergoing Renovation

Take a few minutes the next time you're at church and check out the changes that are taking place in the nursery and preschool under the direction of Christine Rodriguez.

We also want to say a special "thank you" to Roger Dean Davis for sharing his artistic talent and for helping make the nursery and toddler areas a fun place for our kids!

Play & Pray

On Wednesday nights (6:30-8:00 PM) during the school year, you will find the children (age three– fifth grade) at SonCoast having fun – and lots of it!

Play & Pray is fun with a purpose – to reach and train kids for Jesus Christ. It blends Bible teaching, Scripture memorization and tons of fun. Games, crafts, awards, and other activities transform this program into a lively weekly experience where fun and learning go hand in hand.

Our goal is to reach children and their families with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him.
