J – Jesus (grow) – All J.O.Y. events will teach you about God’s Word and challenge you to know Jesus deeper.

O – Others (give) – Many J.O.Y. Fellowship events have a mini service project for people in our community. Along with fellowship and personal growth, you will be challenged to give to others.

Y – YOU (love) – Each J.O.Y. Fellowship event will give you a chance to meet women, grow in friendships, share ideas, and pray together.

SonCoast recognizes the great need for women to connect and build strong relationships.  J.O.Y. Fellowship Women’s Ministry seeks to meet that need.  It is designed for women of all ages and stages in life!  Directed by Lynn Van Lenten and a lay leadership team, J.O.Y. Fellowship provides events and opportunities for women to grow in new friendships, dig deeper into God’s Word, serve others in need, and just love one another!

J.O.Y. Fellowship special events provide women with a fun afternoon or evening out!  Be it a creative holiday event, a mother-daughter tea or a spring retreat -- each one is prayerfully designed to encourage, inspire and mobilize women.   Music, dramas, testimonies and guest speakers are used to draw us all closer to Jesus and one another.  Mini service projects are also included in each event to provide help and hope for those in need.

A special fall evening Bible study will allow women (working or not) to join together to study, share, and grow!  We are presently studying Stasi Eldredge’s book Captivating with video teaching & small group discussion on Monday nights, 7:00-9:00 PM. This fall study will end November 17th and a new spring study will be announced after the holidays.

We also promote a national Bible study program called CBS (Community Bible Study) which meets one morning a week and  provides indepth Bible study with both small group discussion and corporate teaching.  

The “YaYa Sisterhood Club” is a NEW addition to J.O.Y. Fellowship.  This club meets throughout the year for special evenings of pure FUN!!  The YaYa Club is for women of all ages who love to gather for food, crafts, movies and birthday celebrations.  Be watching our calendar for the next YaYa party and join us!!

As we learn, serve and fellowship together, it is our goal in J.O.Y. Fellowship for you to be changed, stretched and empowered as God’s unique woman – fulfilling His purpose created just for YOU.
