Matthew 22:36-39

Our Mission
Soncoast Community Church wants you to feel right at home in our youth ministry!  We have a dynamic youth program for middle and high school-age teenagers!    Our motto, “Love God, Love Others” is based on Matthew 22:36-39.  It is our goal for kids to grow deeper in their relationships with Jesus as well as be Salt and Light to others.

Weekly Events:

Wednesday Nights 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Middle and High School (6th grade through 12th grade) youth group meets up in the Attic every Wednesday night for sports (basketball, volleyball, football), videogames (Wii and X-box 360), pizza, funny upfront games, praise and worship, and small groups.    It’s high energy in the beginning followed by small groups which go deeper into the Word of God. It’s our outreach night. We encourage you to invite all of your friends.

Sunday Mornings 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
Middle and High School youth group meets up in the Attic every Sunday morning for a more intimate and low key Bible study.  We use some of that time to focus on service projects which include making cards for Joe DeMaggio’s Children Hospital, bracelets for kids in Peru, decorating bags for food shelters, etc. 

Trips:
We are always doing something.  Day trips include playing paintball, gleaning a field of corn in Belle Glade to give to the food shelters, and beach days where we sail on a Hobie Cat.  Weekend events include partnering with Wild at Heart Adventure Ministries, kayaking in Key Largo, camping at Bahia Honda State Park in the Lower Keys, hiking in the Ocala National Forest, and sailing in the Keys for 3 day weekends.  In the summer, we continue our partnership with Wild at Heart Adventure Ministries and sail in the Bahamas as well as hike the Appalachian Trail in the mountains of North Carolina.  Other trips include a mission’s trip to Peru, a week in Gatlinburg for a Student Life trip, the Revolve Tour (for girls only), and Wayfest.  Come, have fun, serve, and grow closer to the God who created it all.
